GYPT's castle performance of Henry V
The centenary of the Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers was marked during this year's Monmouth Festival with a performance of Henry V by members of Agergavenny-based Gwent Young People's Theatre.
The company, led by 15 year-old Gareth Lloyd in the title role, Craig Whitcombe as Exeter, Ben Addis as the Dauphin, Alexander Ferris as the Constable, Clementine Sandison as Princess Catherine, Kate Philpott as the boy and Hailey Connick and Marie-Louise Doran as the chorus, took part in the successful production, performed on two nights against the dramatic backdrop of Monmouth Castle.
The production was directed by Gary Meredith and Stephen Badman, with music by David Price.
