Counting down to Gareth's guest spot in Warehouse 13. He is appearing in ep 5 (3 . . . 2 . . . 1) on Monday 8th August 2011 9-00pm on Syfy in the US (repeated on Tuesday August 9th 12-00am).

Pete, Myka and H.G. Wells track Joshua's Trumpet, an artifact that has eluded three generations of Warehouse agents, which now may pose a threat to a packed baseball stadium.

But don't despair Brits! Season 3 is just about to start airing in the UK on Syfy, 4th August 9-00pm, so just a few weeks to wait

Eagle-eyed Gareth fans have been quick to spot that he appears in the trailer for season 3 of Warehouse 13, as shown at the San Diego Comic Con this weekend. He does indeed have a guest role in the new season and we'll bring you more info when we can.

Not Long Now...

...until Torchwood: The Lost Files air on BBC Radio 4. You may have seen the write-up in the Radio Times declaring that "These three new plays on Radio 4 offer up some crucial information - hence the Lost Files name - that will leave Ianto fans reeling. Wednesday's episode in particular must not be missed. Jack (John Barrowman) and Ianto are at the most haunted pub in Wales when a seance opens up the Rift. This time, its effect is heartbreaking.". And producer/director Kate McAll reveals in a BBC blog that "Oh, and there's a very special surprise for Ianto fans in one of them!"

The plays will be available as podcasts too, and the CD set will be available to buy from 8th September 2011.

Don't Forget...

Red Faction: Origins premieres on the US Syfy channel today (4th June) at 9:00pm. Syfy says of Gareth's character:

"The charismatic Adam Hale is the leader of the violent and mysterious White Faction, encountered by Jake Mason on a post-liberation Mars."

Gareth voices the character for the Red Faction: Armageddon video game, too, which has just launched on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Benefit Night For Gwent Young People's Theatre

Gwent Theatre is campaigning to reverse the Arts Council of Wales decision to cut funding for theatre in education and as part of this action they are holding a benefit night on Sunday 6th March 2011 at the Borough Theatre, Abergavenny. Gareth will be lending his support with Blue Gillespie alongside a host of other artists and performers, all former members of Gwent Young People's Theatre. A newly formed choir for children and young people Cor y Fenni, will also perform along with GYPT members and Gwent Theatre's Gary Meredith and Jain Boon.

Red Faction

Gareth is to appear in Red Faction: Origins, a two hour movie for Syfy based on the popular Red Faction video games. Production begins in Bulgaria this week and the movie is due to air in May 2011. Robert Patrick (Terminator 2) stars as Alex Mason.

The movie follows the children of rebel hero Mason and is set during a period between the 'Red Faction Guerrilla' and 'Red Faction Armageddon' video games, the latter of which is also scheduled for release in May 2011.

Girl Number 9 on Australian TV

Girl Number 9 has just started airing on Australian TV - ABC2, Mondays at 9-25pm. Although the first episode went out on 17th January, you can catch up with it online at ABC's website. The next episode goes out on Monday 24th January 2011. Thanks to James Moran for the info.
